ABOUT THE BENEFICIARY

The Sisters of Mary School

They are currently constructing a Digital Transformation Center to provide the students with useful technical skills that they may use in a rapidly shifting, technology-driven world. It is the aim of the school to equip these kids with sufficient experience so they are ready to take on work that will further open economic opportunities for themselves and their families, even if they are unable to afford to go to college.

The Sisters of Mary School, with its four schools in the Philippines, provides secondary education and comprehensive vocational training to marginalised girls and boys aged 12 to 18. These kids are some of the brightest in the country. The Sisters currently support nearly 8,000 students coming from the poorest families across the archipelago.

Mench is raising 7 Million Pesos to support the construction of the Digital Transformation Center at the Sisters of Mary School. The center will offer digital courses and technical programs that aim to provide practical skills in programming, AI, web3, among others. Having these knowledge and capabilities allow the students to immediately find work after they graduate from the school, enabling them to support their families even if they are unable to go to university for a degree.
